Fading Echo Review (PC)

Fading Echo is an exciting action platformer, and one with a very interesting visual style that immediately caught my attention. My focus when it comes to a game like this is to bring up something creative, immersive and enjoyable. And Fading Echo delivers way more than I thought it would, since it adds a unique sense of style and visuals, while also being very creative.

The story in this game is straightforward, as we take the role of a young woman called One, who journeys with her mother and randomly gets pulled into an alternative dimension. That’s where she discovers that she actually has some latent abilities like turning into a small blob of water. Having the world destroyed by something is not something original, but the game just uses that as a backdrop to showcase your powers, and that’s something I immediately appreciated.
