Corsair Cove Review (PC)

The golden age of piracy might be one of the most interesting times in human history. We had pirates doing whatever they wanted, whenever they wanted, and not taking anything for granted. Corsair Cove is a game set in that era, and its focus is on creating a great hideout for pirates, while also featuring quite a lot of battles. So, it very much allows you to live your pirate fantasy, while also being incredibly fun and quite deep when it comes to hideout building, too.

Corsair Cove has a familiar gameplay core, since you exploit resources on the island with harvesting buildings, refine them into goods, and then use those goods you make to keep your pirates happy, accumulate money and of course, construct more buildings.

However, you don’t have a lot of space on the island, so you have to focus on building on cliffs, which makes the hideout quite interesting. Buildings are placed on cliffs, and they are linked together by ropes, elevators, ziplines and so on. Somet...
