ChatGPT App Might Soon Get A Native WhatsApp Sticker Creator

Creating funny pictures to share with friends might soon become a lot easier. People use the ChatGPT app to generate custom images, but turning those images into messaging stickers takes too many steps. You have to save the picture, crop it, and use another tool to import it. A new report shows that OpenAI is working on a built-in feature to export these designs directly into WhatsApp.



Hidden app code reveals a direct export tool for stickers



Android Authority found hidden details inside the latest version of the official ChatGPT application for Android. By looking at the unreleased code, they discovered a tool simply named ChatGPT Stickers. This setup allows users to make images using artificial intelligence and then send them straight to a messaging chat as a ready to use sticker pack.



According to the app data, you will need to generate at least three designs to create a pack. This rule actually comes from WhatsApp, which requires all sticker packs to have a minimum of three items and a maximum of thirty. If you try to send fewer than three, the transfer process will fail.



While the new code snippets mention exporting to other chat apps, the current focus seems limited to just one messaging platform. The company has not officially announced this feature, so we do not know when it will launch to the public. If it does roll out, it will save heavy AI users a ton of time. They will no longer need extra steps to share their daily picture creations with friends.
