iPhone Ultra Leak Shows Square and Rounded Corners in Apple’s Foldable Glass Design

Apple’s rumored iPhone Ultra foldable has appeared in another accessory leak, and the latest screen protectors give a clearer look at the device’s unusual cover display design, camera placement, and wider proportions ahead of its expected launch.



Ice Universe shared images and a hands-on video of the screen protectors, which show square corners near the hinge side and rounded corners along the opposite edge. The shape matches earlier reports describing a foldable iPhone with an asymmetric outer glass panel built around the hinge.

According to Ice Universe, the protector covers the entire front glass rather than matching the visible display area exactly, so the actual screen should still use symmetrical rounded corners and even bezels. The protector also supports previous claims that Apple plans a shorter and wider cover display compared with a standard iPhone.



iPhone Ultra could use a single punch-hole camera







The accessory includes one punch-hole cutout for the front-facing camera, positioned on the right side instead of the center. Earlier rumors disagreed on the camera position, making this leak another useful clue about Apple’s current design direction.



Apple is also expected to use Touch ID instead of Face ID on the iPhone Ultra, which would remove the need for the larger TrueDepth sensor system and allow Apple to use a single camera cutout for the first time on an iPhone.



Sonny Dickson recently shared protective covers for the phone’s rear camera module in silver and dark blue finishes.



Other rumors point to a 5.5-inch cover display, 7.8-inch inner display, A20 Pro chip, 5,000mAh battery, dual 48-megapixel rear cameras, and 18-megapixel selfie cameras. Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone Ultra alongside the iPhone 18 Pro lineup in mid-September, with pricing starting at around $2,000.
