But in my opinion the real question is: why do we have to choose just one? I personally use both of them. I use Nano when I need to to a quick change to a file without having to get too mad, and I use Vim whenever I want to break my brain through a thousands key binds and 4 different modes, since I'm still learning his to use it properly :)...
