According to MacRumors contributor Aaron Perris, Apple recently added the 'genai.apple.com' subdomain to its domain records just weeks before WWDC 2026 begins on June 8. While Apple already hosts Apple Intelligence information on its main website, this new domain points toward a broader AI strategy focused specifically on generative AI features.
Siri Is Finally Getting the Upgrades Apple Promised
Apple reportedly plans to introduce a much smarter Siri experience at WWDC 2026, including personal context awareness, on-screen understanding, and deeper app actions that allow Siri to complete tasks more naturally. Reports also suggest Apple will use Gemini-based models hosted through Private Cloud Compute to power many of these upgrades.
In addition, Apple is expected to introduce a dedicated Siri app that supports text-based conversations and conversation history, bringing Siri closer to experiences users already expect from chatbots like ChatGPT and Claude.
More Apple Intelligence Features Expected
Beyond Siri, Apple Intelligence will reportedly expand into several core apps and accessibility tools, including:
A new “Create a Pass” feature in Wallet for physical tickets
AI-powered editing tools in Photos

Apple is also expected to focus heavily on performance improvements and software stability across iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27 during this year’s WWDC keynote.
