Megan Fox Reportedly Returning for ‘Jennifer’s Body 2’ as October Filming Nears

Megan Fox is reportedly preparing to return as Jennifer Check in Jennifer’s Body 2, with production currently targeting an October 2026 start.

The sequel is moving closer to production



Diablo Cody has been developing the project for 20th Century Studios. Kusama previously described the script as fun and unpredictable, suggesting that the sequel will retain the dark comedy and horror elements that shaped the original movie.



The first Jennifer’s Body arrived in 2009 and followed a demonically possessed high school student who began killing and eating her male classmates. Although the film received mixed reviews and modest box office results during its original release, it later developed a strong cult following.



Important details remain unknown, including the sequel’s plot, complete cast, release date and official title. The October production schedule also remains unconfirmed by 20th Century Studios.



Still, the reported return of Megan Fox, Cody and Kusama indicates that Jennifer’s Body 2 has moved beyond early discussions and is getting closer to filming.
